HCAV is a non-governmental human rights organization that unites individuals who value democracy, tolerance, pluralism and principles of human rights supremacy.
HCAV has been conducting human rights monitoring in closed and semi–closed institutions for several years. Since 1999, HCAV has been involved in the observation of local and national elections including long-term and short-term observations, submitting reports and inquiries, disputing violations in court and preparing legislative recommendations in collaboration with other non-governmental organizations. HCAV conducts election observation as a part of the ‘Independent observer’ coalition in Armenia.

TIAC was founded in 2000 and accredited as the National Chapter of Transparency International global anticorruption movement. Its mission is to promote political, economic and social reforms in Armenia and the region.
In the area of elections TIAC strives to support the conduct of free, fair and transparent elections and the establishment of electoral institutions. Its activities include monitoring of political party finance and use of administrative resource, analysis of official statistics on the voting process, observation of national and local level elections, instigation of complaints and litigation of electoral violations, and advocacy for improvement of the electoral legislation. TIAC conducts election observation as a part of the ‘Akanates’ coalition in Armenia.
